The Sasha Bruce Youthwork P.O.W.E.R. Program is designed to support youth in making healthier decisions about their lives. We provide sexual health information, which is accurate, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Our goal is to help youth stay STD/STI free and to delay parenting until they are emotionally and financially ready for those responsibilities.

Washington, D.C., had the dubious distinction of beating all 50 states to post the highest rates in the nation for the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) Chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis, according to a new report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta.
